Eric Rodez brought Krug's approach to blending back to a grower estate.

A Krug-trained blender in Ambonnay, keeping reserves from up to ten vintages and bringing the grande maison's logic to a grower's thirty-five parcels.
Yellow and red apples mark the nose, giving a clear impression of orchard fruit, with a floral side alongside them and tones of black tea and sakura.
Truly a complex wine, mineral-driven in character, with floral tones running through it and lovely white notes alongside.
The nose is lovely, giving wild strawberry and raspberry, with garden strawberry and redcurrant alongside them.
Orchard fruit marks the nose, with yellow and red apples, a floral side, black tea and sakura alongside them.
A lovely Chardonnay nose, rich but with nerve, delicate and still complex at the same time.

A lovely salmon-pink colour, with a clear nose of wild strawberry and yellow raspberry, yellow apples alongside them, and a lovely taut acidity running through.
Fresh orchard fruit stands out clearly, apples and quince, and running alongside them are light touches of yellow citrus and minerality.
Classic Chardonnay tones mark the nose, with citrus blossom, white fruits and stone fruit.
What we have here is a wine that is close to complete as far as a Blanc de Blancs goes, in my book.
The nose is lovely and concentrated, moving in the direction of red apple skin and quince, with baked citrus and herbs, and a fine minerality that heads towards seashore and salt stone.
