Champagne Suenen, established in Cramant in 1905, was transformed when Aurélien Suenen took over in 2009 at twenty-three, leaving a semi-professional basketball career after his father Daniel stepped back.

A basketball career abandoned for three hectares of Cramant chalk — and one of the fastest ascents in modern Champagne.
Lovely florality throughout, the nose giving lily of the valley, jasmine and yellow citrus.
A lovely nose, intense and delicate at once — rich in cool-toned fruit while staying taut and fine-boned.
A lightly lactic nose, yoghurt sitting beside citrus, white flowers and apple.
A superbly delicious Champagne built on pure Chardonnay. The fruit is precise and clean, framed by razor-sharp minerality and a fine acid line that runs straight through without deviation.
