Laherte Frères, founded in Chavot in 1889, made its name championing Meunier at a time when the variety was treated as filler.

Meunier taken seriously, from a village most people drive past on the way to somewhere grander.
A lovely nose showing clear mineral notes of both chalk and something distinctly saline.
This is the variety the producer himself believes is the future of the region.
A beautiful, rich colour. The nose shows very clear notes of wild strawberry, garden strawberry, baked raspberry and lingonberry.
A Champagne built entirely on Meunier. The nose is floral and lifted, with a lovely fruit character running underneath.
A lovely nose marked by red apple skin, blood orange and clear minerality, lifted by light notes of warm spice from the barrel ageing.
A lovely nose marked by fine fruit concentration, showing clear notes of ripe apples, citrus, warm spices and a touch of baked pastry.
This is a wine built on the seven classic grape varieties permitted in Champagne.
A lovely nose giving light floral notes over unripe white peach and citrus.
A beautiful salmon-pink colour. A delicious nose with lovely notes of red apple and citrus, alongside raspberry and redcurrant.
